The Benefits of Online Yoga Classes

Yoga in a room is how most of us have our first experience of yoga practice. It’s a social experience as much as a collective focus.

But online yoga has transformed practice for me and my participants. It gives us access to the social experience of yoga, while offering the intimacy and convenience of practise without the travel.

“I like the intimacy of online classes. It’s just me and the instructor on the mat. Even though yoga isn’t supposed to be competitive, it’s difficult not to compare yourself to the others in the room when you’re in a physical space together. Online yoga classes gets rid of that – it’s more about you, and rebuilding your energy.”
